Suzanne started her career in the media, specialising in documentary films for BBC, Channel 4, Yorkshire TV and others.  Her interest in storytelling led to a career in communications, delving deeper into people’s motivations, beliefs, attitudes and behaviour change theories.  Over the next 15 years she worked in senior communications roles for two large healthcare organisations and led a number of successful healthcare campaigns.

   

Increasingly concerned by the climate crisis, in 2018 Suzanne took a career break and got involved with various climate focused organisations in the city including Leeds Clean Air group, Living Streets Leeds, Our Future Leeds and Zero Waste Leeds.  Seeing the positive impact of their work in the city, in 2019 Suzanne started to work freelance for Social Business Brokers and in 2021 became Co-Director, leading on communications.

Suzanne has an MA in Public Communications and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
